The CEO and VP of Lucid Motors, Peter Rawlinson, delightfully announced or instead teased the concept for the revolutionary electric SUV which the company is producing under the Project ‘Gravity’
In previous interviews, Peter Rawlinson, the CEO and CTO of Lucid Motors stated that crash testing would only be tested on production models. In the investor call yesterday, Peter Rawlinson said, “We are in the late stages of the crash testing program, and the car is in the midst of EPA range testing.”
Lucid Motors Chief Executive Officer Peter Rawlinson told Reuters on Tuesday that the luxury electric car maker plans to launch a rival to Tesla Inc’s Model 3 in 2024 or 2025.
Despite this critical news not being in the investor call, Lucid Motors has started construction on their second phase, which will ultimately see an expansion of 2,400,000 square feet, including mechanical/industrial building space and approximately 3,000 parking spaces on about 152.36 acres.
